Are you ready for the test? what is the formula for volume and what is the formula for the s.a.?

  1. The formula for the volume of a triangular prism is base multiplied by the height divided by two. whatever you get for that you multiply by the length. The volume of a rectangular prism is length multiplied by the width multiplied by the height. Now the surface area is legnth multiplied by the width for all six sides and then you add them all together, but this only works for rectangular prisms. For pyramids and trianguler prisms it's the same thing except when you are calculating the area of a triangle it is base multiplied by the height divided by two.
